For the first time in 7 years, we are moving locations for the Dust Off. We’ll be at Lucky Strike Grand Rapids – a completely remodeled, multi-entertainment property with a full service restaurant (Woody’s Press Box), 2 bars, golf simulators, and more. They have a NEW parking lot surface with 450+ total parking spaces, which will offer us more parking – no shuttle lots needed! We’re excited for this new partnership, and we know you’ll love this location.
Starting in 2014, the DUST OFF has been the Metro Cruise’s first event of the year. It has since grown into the unofficial kick-off to car show season in West Michigan. The event features 220+ show cars, food and drink specials, an awesome custom T-shirt to the first 75 attendees, official Metro-Merch trophies, and lots of inside entertainment.
The move to our new host site, Lucky Strike Grand Rapids, will offer us more benefits and conveniences than we’ve ever had before. Parking is one large contiguous lot with a like-new paved surface. Our main table with Metro Cruise information, the official T-shirts, and other merchandise will be under the large covered main entrance area.
Inside you’ll find a flashy new space with so much to do. The Woody’s Press Box restaurant just inside offers a spot to get out from the sun, with spacious tables or a full bar to have breakfast or lunch at with your friends. Further inside, you’ll find lots of entertainment options. A big arcade with over 30 games for the kids. 5 golf simulator stalls. Open bowling with 40 lanes. And a separate VIP bowling room with 12 lanes for an upgraded experience. Later in the day, they’ll have a band inside.
And as always, this event is all about the cars and the kinship. The vast majority of car owners come to this event as their first car show of the summer. It’s a great feeling to be outside, shine the car up, and meet up with some great friends you haven’t seen in awhile. We look forward to seeing you there!
